Murano Glass Necklace

This necklace is part of a limited series of ten unique pieces, conceived as an edition that extends Andrea Penzo’s research on glass through color, sequence, and material presence.

Individually flame-worked using traditional Murano glass techniques, the necklace is composed of multicolored glass beads, each one realized in a single, uniform color. Every bead functions as a discrete chromatic unit, contributing to a continuous sequence defined by variation rather than repetition.

The work emphasizes color as material rather than surface effect. Monochrome beads are assembled to create a rhythmic progression, where difference becomes the organizing principle of the form. The necklace is conceived as a wearable structure in which balance emerges from the careful calibration of color, scale, and spacing.

As part of a limited edition, each necklace is unique. Slight variations in tone, proportion, and surface are intrinsic to the flame-working process and are considered a defining quality of the work.

The necklace is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
