This necklace is part of a limited series of ten unique pieces, conceived as an edition that extends Andrea Penzo’s ongoing research on glass as material, gesture, and form.
Each piece is individually flame-worked using traditional Murano glass techniques. The necklace is not conceived as ornament, but as a wearable object in which material density, chromatic balance, and rhythm are held in tension. Amber, white, and aquamarine glass elements are combined through a controlled manual process that emphasizes variation rather than uniformity.
Although part of a limited edition, every necklace is singular. Small differences in form, surface, and proportion are intrinsic to the flame-working process and are considered a defining quality of the work rather than a deviation.
